- Our English Bridle Leather Series
Our English bridle leather is made in the U.S. and is the best
domestic version of this vegetable tannage that we have seen.
These 4/5oz and 6/7 oz firm hides are actually tanned and finished
for the horse bridle industry. The oak bark tanning process takes
a long time and produces a superior leather. This vegetable tanned
leather is quite expensive, but worth the difference. Colors
are dark brown, medium brown, black, and chestnut. All seams
are outside with edges sanded, beveled, dyed black, and burnished.
All hardware is solid brass.

Shown in 6/7oz burgundy. A small "boxy" book bag for
note books and such. One large interior section and a zipper
section on the front panel under the flap. Makes a nice pocket
book. Long adjustable strap.

Shown in 6/7oz dark brown with black trim. Shorter and deeper
than #8. Strap over flap is wide and tapers with shape to a turn
clasp closure. A large inside compartment with a divider against
the back panel and a flat outside pocket under the flap, Long
adjustable strap. Available two tone as shown or all one color
